GUYS PLEASE, I BRICKED MY PHONE AND LOST MY IMEI AND BASEBAND. AS A RESULT OF THAT, MY M2 CANT DETECT SIM CARD AGAIN. PLZ HELP. I AV TRIED MOBILE UNCLE TOOL, NO WAY.

FIRSTLY... UPGRADE!

Go to gionee website (try to Google it) and download gionee kitkat package and upgrade to 4.4. (details on how to upgrade is there too)
Then download Aarinze's Rom (the link above this post) and flash via cwm or ctr.

The glo bis level can then come in.

you don't need to upgrade to 4.4.2 first before installing Aarinze's rom... i installed it while on jellybean 4.2.2 and everything works fine including the rear camera everything's working fine

That you upgraded to stock kitkat before fashing custom roms does not mean one can't flash roms with the official kitkat.. Bro don't think too much of yourself

if it didn't change ...maybe you've not gotten root permissions ...use root checker and check if you're properly rooted... if you're rooted, try using ''MTK ENGINEERING MODE.apk" to change the IMEI NUMBER

Guys pls i have 6 problems
Am using m2 kitkat d battery only lasts for 18-20hrs even though i use 3g for like 12-14 hours and play HD games for a while.
Which utility applications are necessary for me to use to enjoy this phone.
Is their a way i can change my background colour to black without porting to a rom
Which custom rom is best for this phone and pls teach me how to use custom roms i don't know much about it.
Are their any advantages or disadvantages in rooting this.phone.
I need some tricks and tweaks to.make me enjoy my m2 more

However open "Xposed Installer" tap on "Modules" tick the "Gravity Box" option the go back and install framework if you have not..
You can do that by taping on the "Framework" ignore any warning that pops up, then tap "Install/Update" grant it super user acess and reboot..
You should now see "Screenshot" on your statusbar Quick settings tile..

Yes bro.
I have the 8GB version, it works flawlessly.

And yes, you cag flash the ROM directly on jellybean, just make a backup of your current ROM.
