In as much as I don't like Arabs, Middle East, and Qatar is definitely country I don't find attractive - I agree with you. Bribing is part of the game, and the UK also bribed certain FIFA officials. I believe people are just mad that Qatar defeated the "Old Guard" and the original home of football, despite the inclusion of the royal family in the bid. It's 2014, and all countries should be treated the same...if you lose a bid, don't be a sore loser.

I still remember all the negativity about South Africa hosting the world cup in 2010...and how Brazil was painted black before this tournament started. However, this world cup might end up being the best world cup ever. Now compare this one to the shitty one hosted by Germany in 2006 - and the difference is clear.

I like what FIFA is doing. All continents and cultures should be allowed to host the world cup. And people should be allowed to experience different cultures. That's the essence of humanity. If they take the world cup from Qatar, people need to speak with one voice and boycott the tournament - period. They won the bid fair and square - let them host it!

As far as I'm concerned, FIFA is a European organization, referees are controlled by FIFA and the 'favorites' are usually helped to win...Arjen Robben dived obviously and the referee bought it, Mexico was the better team and this game should have gone into extra time at least, this is why I can't understand soccer

Mexico coach was actually afraid of Netherlands scoring, he relaxed his offence and strenghtened his defence by removing Dos santos and that was where he got it all wrong, Dos santos was rily a threat to netherlands... BTW Ochoa made over 5 good saves in that match, in all Mexico Posed real threat to netherlandz
