sorry bro... it was neither ayinde nor ihezuo rather SuperZ's goal which ayila cancelled with her celebration and it was just last year or 2013... Popps was oparanozie's mate which we met in the finals in germany about 5 or 6 years ago and the won by 2-0...

I really hope both Flying Eagles and Super Falcons to do much better.. Germany ended the journey of our worst F.E in egypt few years ago. Probably this is the time for revenge.
u re right bro. Popp the highest goal scorer in that tournament is even in this present German female team that banged ivory coast 10-0 some days ago.

Manu Garba is the coach. but for me, I will still say it again, Bulbwa and Saviour are not good for counter attack. no need running with the ball for so long time. The two should watch how Yahaya, Awoniyi and Iheanacho do partner perfectly together anytime they are on counter attack.. That aspect i think manu garba made the 3 to be extra perfect. everyone knows what they other is about to do and positions himself good to receive the pass.. They did it against Iran, they did it against Iraq, against Uruguay, and the finals against mexico. The three did it perfectly against brazil which resulted to their 2-1 lead...
Garba please try to avoid those useless long balls. Your philosophy during the U-17 wasn't based on long ball rather short passes... The long ball is not working.... We are yet to see the impact of your long ball.

Goodluck F.E.. go make us proud.

u re right my brother, it was that damn game in calabar against the bifouma led side that costs us the AFCON though we had other chances to make up by at least beating sudan (which we lost)away and beat south Africa at home in uyo and we would have qualified but NO our boys bungled everything. still a sour taste in my mouth, i mean the non-qualification. wink

Well all the best bro against germay smiley

I believe you have what it takes to beat germay convincly but there and again ma fear is on ur coach garba
He must be on his real best, because tactics will win this game

nigerians have waited long enuf for dis, flying eagles dont disappoint them. Wake up and play the game. U can do better than dis. So far its only awoniyi doing sumtin but he needs help. The coach should ask nacho and yahaya to start warming up.

Manu got it wrong! Bulbwa and Godwin are zero! Sokari can't even hold the ball for second, talk less of making decisive passes!
Sad watching the Lads flopping!!!

Tbaba1234 and safarigirl hope you two have seen what over-confidence have cause you and our team? When i and people like alj were saying it will be better to avoid Germany you guys called us "paper fans" and "cowards", now you guys should enjoy your Germany
gbosaa:

Avoid what? If you want the cup, you have to defeat the opposition in front of you. Yes it's cowardice to avoid them. Flying Eagles played badly in the first half. Hopefully their errors would be collected in the second half.
I hope to see some yahaya and Moses coming in for sokari and bulbwa.
Won't you have appreciate it if our team play serbia and make it to the quarter final
