Re: Mtv Africa Music Awards 2008 by adconline(m): 4:29pm On Oct 16, 2008
why having artistes who dont live in Africa on the list?
Re: Mtv Africa Music Awards 2008 by shilling(f): 4:35pm On Oct 16, 2008
@ ayomifull

Looking at the list of nominees, you'll realise that our Nigerian artistes deserve it more than all the others. Quality of music, popularity (Africa and international), even looks - however you look at it, our artistes deserve it more.

Good question. Probably because they're "African" although nothing about them is African besides the colour of their skin and their roots.

How bodi bros?? wink. . . . . Dem no nominate you for any award at all cheesy
Re: Mtv Africa Music Awards 2008 by shotster50(m): 11:54pm On Oct 16, 2008
@ adconline

You are asking why include non Africans or Africans not living in Africa.
If your question is the first one, let me ask you; why did the Mobos / MTV Europe have 'Best African Artistes' category even though the winners are not Europeans and most live in Africa? Heck even the Grammys too,
