Nawa for you oo, if Oyinbo man tell you that garri is not good, and give you hamburger to replace it which one kill faster, abeg can you differenciat between reared animal and bush meat, when they said bird flu, did the Oyinbo stop eating it, do your research you will know which country rear the most of this meat, which import most and which process more. Rabbit alone in France and Netherlands account for more than 20 percent of their income.
Pig has the most of infection and disease and yet they still eat it, please let be diplomatic when commenting on treads as your kind can discurage intending farmer, nothing is wasted in rabbitry. I stop for now

Bunny fertilizer will not burn plants. It can be used directly without damaging new growth.
This fertilizer is very good for the soil because of its high content of nitrogen, postassium and phosphorus.

I have a video on how rabbit waste is collected, seived, bagged and sold for 5 dollars per bag. Don't know if they practice such in Nigeria.

I've been following from page 5 or so.
But now I want to ask, my male rabbit isn't getting the females pregnant (I got it from someone who keeps all of hers together in one room so we don't know if it has got other females pregnant before).

Someone said he had same problem until he dewormed his.

Please has anyone here experienced same? Is the proposition true?
And if yes, please what dewormer can I use for them?

There are really no hard and fast rules. They feed their kits themselves, but only about once daily I read (they have breasts to feed with). Don't bother her too much as she might not go near them in your presence; thinking you're a predator.

Just try to observe these few things:
1. Make sure you have a nest box so she won't have to litter on the floor of the cage. A lot of people suggest you put the box in the cage 28 days after mating.
2. Make you your cage is free from pests and rodents. Block all possible openings as much as possible.
3. Don't leave the doe hungry, especially when she litters. It could make her eat her own bunnies.
4. Depending on your level of relationship with the doe, try to avoid touching the bunnies until after about 2 weeks of age. Because they're preyed animals in nature, if they perceive any 'foreign scent' on their kits they'll abandon them; thinking it's a predator that was there. Though some won't do that (depends on your relationship with her).
5. Try to keep you cage from excessive cold.

I think these should help you a long way. I too is not a pro, just started about a year ago and I'm learning from my mistakes.
