Hello Jalfalb, If you are called for an interview, you should bring those documents. Because documents are not required, DHL is not used to people sending in more documents, so they kept to the established procedure. Regards, Abuja NIV jalfalb: 1 Like |

Good day VO, My family intends to have our annual vacation in the US, we have made visa application payments and filled forms. Our intended date of visit filled on the form is December 24th but I couldn't get an interview date earlier than January 4th 2017. As it is, it looks like we won't be able to make the trip this December due to unavailable interview date, now my questions are; 1. Can I change our intended date of visit on the form? If yes, how? 2. We have decided to postpone the trip till Easter, wouldn't January 4th 2017 be too early for interview since we intend to travel in April 2017. Thanks. |

pls can anyone assist me. i applied for visiting visa in 2014 with my family which i happened to be the principal applicant. though i dint do it myself but i went thru an agent...the visa was not granted. so today i decided to apply for only my wife and daughter... so when i got to the stage on booking an appointment for interview, the site did not accept it saying the daTA is connected to a particular email address. which i typed and tried to log in thru that email its just bringing out my data page alone. |

Okey79: Dear , please I will appreciate your advice, my cousin was issued a b1/b2 visa in January 2014, she was 1month pregnant then, although unknown to her. She traveled twice to the US that year, she also had her second baby there but not without writing a letter of change of intent to the embassy. Her visa was canceled in 2015 when she took her first son to the embassy for his visa interview, she had the second baby with her, she was asked why she applied for only the first son, she told them she had the second one in the US and she had her own visa cancelled while her son was also denied visa. She has applied twice since then and was denied. Please what can she do at this point? |

I was refused a student visa today as the 3rd time, today the oldest woman interviewed me, she asked the reason I changed my school, I told I never did, she said I did, she mentioned the name of d school previously written on her screen by the previous interviewer. I swear to God who made me, I have never heard the name of the school she mentioned. I never brought changed my school because of the research I'm interested in. I can give u my sevis number on demand to help verify. Same old sevi's number I used for the three attempt. This is so painful. |

JADESOLA15: CANCELLED and CANCELLED WITH PREJUDICE means a valid visa has been revoked and cancelled in the system so that the applicant cannot enter the United States or travel. CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE is done to all expired visas when received by the Embassy/Consulate. It is also done to the old visa when applying to renew within the same visa class, regardless of whether it is expired since you cannot have two concurrently valid visas for the same visa class. 1 Like |

Good morning Abujaniv, I was issued a 2year visa in March 2015. However, I have not used the visa due to some circumstances beyond my control and the visa will expire in the next 3 months. Pls what is my chance of getting my visa renewed in the future? Would I be denied because I didn't make use of the initial visa that was issued for me? |

Hi VO, my question is on drop box application. I noticed that the earlier clause of ''no more than two years prior to re issuance'' is now four years on the US visa website. Has it been extended now? My family and i were issued visas in Nov 2013 does it mean we are still qualified for drop box application? To qualify for the DHL Drop Box Visa Renewal Program, visa applicants must be applying to renew either a B1/B2, an F, an L, or an H visa. They must satisfy all of the following criteria for their visa class. If applying as a group or family, all members must fulfill each criteria to use the program. For a B1/B2 visa holder: The applicant is a Nigerian passport holder; The applicant principally resides in Nigeria; The applicant’s last visa interview resulted in an issuance; The applicant was issued a two-year B1/B2 United States visa; The visa expired no more than two years prior to reissuance The applicant was at least 14 years old at the time of the last issuance or will be under the age of 14 at the time of reissuance; and The applicant has never been arrested nor had an encounter with law enforcement, customs, or immigration officials in the United States. For B1/B2 visa holders: • The applicant is a Nigerian passport holder; if not a Nigerian passport holder, the applicant principally resides in Nigeria and their last visa was issued in Nigeria; • The applicant’s last visa interview resulted in an issuance; • The applicant was issued a two-year B1/B2 United States visa; • The visa expired no more than four years prior to reissuance; • The applicant was at least 14 years old at the time of the last issuance or will be under the age of 14 at the time of reissuance; and • The applicant has never been arrested nor had an encounter with law enforcement, customs, or immigration officials in the United States. |
