According to a recent concluded poll in Great Britain, it was discovered that couples that sleep naked at homes have longer and closer relationship to those that do not. The best way to keep a marriage happy is to sleep in the nude, a study suggests.

Those who wear nothing in bed are more content in their relationships than those who cover up, according to a poll.

Of 1,004 Britons, 57 per cent of those who sleep in the nude said they were happy in their relationships, compared with 48 per cent of those in pyjamas, 43 per cent of nightie wearers and 38 per cent of those in onesies.

‘But one factor which is often overlooked is the bedroom environment.

‘Bedding can feel extremely soft against the skin, encouraging openness and intimacy between couples and ultimately increasing happiness.’

The research also revealed our partner’s bedroom manners affect our happiness in relationships.

Half of us are bothered by people eating in bed, 59 per cent of us detest dirty washing on the floor and 23 per cent hate it when their partner wears socks in bed.

If anything is certain, it is certain that the outcome of this poll would not be popular in some countries as it is believed that religion and culture would play a significant role.

Using Nigeria as a case study would be a very interesting one, as it is nothing far from obvious that people would air different views on this issue. While some would find it appalling some would find it attractive, and another challenge that would be faced while carrying out this poll in Nigeria is how genuine these opinions would be, knowing too well that a good number of Nigerian do not enjoy discussing issues like that, especially the older folks.

Whether people shy away from this topic or not, it is certain that the bedroom environments plays a significant role in homes.

When couples sleep together in this manner it helps build intimacy as it makes them have a true feeling of the soulmates that they are and boost their interaction. Just as sex is very vital in marriage, body languages would be well understood without getting confused as to whether your partner is in the mood or not.
