After several months of deep
search through google i
couldnt find a way to make
my nokia n Series to lock on to 3G network,a
very
annoying and disapointing
situation,finally i got it,just
follow to the latter. First go
to the settings,select network
and select network mode,here change it from
GSM MODE TO
DUAL MODe,if already on dual
mode no need to change it
again,but if in gsm mode
change as i said,the phone
would restart but dosent mean 3G would
appear,dont
press the panic button just
yet.go back to the
settings,select network and
then select network operator
and change it to manual from
automatic,here,your phone
starts searching for available
networks,now here is when to press the panic
button as
when the search result is
out,and your operator network you are using
e.G
mtn,zain,glo e.T.C dosent show the 3G sign in
front of the network name,then this cheat
won't work but if it shows then be happy. Do
not select any network yet,especialy
> (www.samzyworld.com) on point!
your own network that
showed the 3G sign. Now
select a wrong network,here
your phone would say "no
access" and removes the former network on
the phone
so the phone appears not to
have network again, here,dont
select any network again,just
press the multifunction key
and change your profile to "offline" here no
network
access is allowed on your
phone again,after about
10seconds,change your profile
from offline to general or
other profiles and select "yes "as your phone
would ask you
to allow network access,here
NO NETWORK WOULD SHOW ON
YOUR PHONE YET,dont be
afraid,just dial any number and
wait for the phone to drop the call under the
excuse of
no network coverage.Here if
you check the network bar,it
would be showing 3G but yet
no network. Press and hold
the multifunctional key and select settings
then it would
take you back to the search
result u previousely left
untouched.Now select your
operator network that has
the 3G sign in front and VOLLA,your 3G
network
shows,reply to confirm.TESTED
AND WORKING ON MTN
