Why Africa May Never Win The World Cup by damilare442: 11:16am On Jul 02, 2014 |
Africa is known for Talents in all areas of life, but the greatest problem that the world 2nd largest continent have been facing is the rate of development and optimization of the unique talents that are associated with Her. The World cup is not spared of this ugly Trend. It is not uncommon to see players from African descent playing actively in distant European & American Countries. While others representing their african countries do so with little or no passion compared with the aforementioned. Below is the List of some African players that are playing Outside Africa (who are of course doing well). Ben Arfa (Tunisia) – France Paul Pogba (Guinea) – France Karim Benzema (Algeria) – France Samir Nasri (Algeria) – France Govou (Benin) – France Zinedine Zidane (Algeria) – France Luis Nani (Cape Verde) – Portugal Christian Benteke (DRC) – Belgium Jerome Boateng (Ghana) - Germany David Alaba (Nigeria) – Austria Oguchi Onyewu (Nigeria) – USA Angelo Ogbonna (Nigeria) – Italy Dennis Aogo (Nigeria) – Germany Okaka Chuka (Nigeria) – Italy Gabriel Agbonlahor (Nigeria) – Scotland Patrick Owemoyela (Nigeria) - Germany Nedum Onuoah (Nigeria) - England Patrick Vieira (Senegal) – France Mousa Dembele (Mali) – Belgium Romelo Lukaku (DRC) – Belgium Sami Khedira (Tunisia) – Germany Vincent Kompany (Congo) - Belgium Danny Welbeck (Ghana) – England Mario Balotelli (Ghana) – Italy Mamadou Sakho (Senegalese) - France Bacary Sagna (Senegal) – France Patrice Evra (Guinea) – France El Shaarawy (Egypt) – Italy Dirick Origi (Kenya) – Belgium Ramires Makukula (Swaziland) -Brazil Sidney sam (Nigeria) – Germany Another Category of players are those who are currently representing foreign Youth teams which could have been the future of african Teams. They include; Tiago Ilori Abiola (Nigeria) – Portugal Jordan Ibe (Nigeria) – England Chukwuemeka Ademola Amachi “Chuks” Aneke (Nigeria) – England Chuba Amechi Akpom (Nigeria) – England Gedion Zelalem (Ethiopia) – Germany Saido Berahino (Burundi) – England Serge David Gnabry (Ivory coast) – Germany Armindo Tué Na Bangna (Bruma) (Guinea) – Portugal The list goes on and on………………. This is one of the reasons why Africa never wins. Remember 5 african nations came to the World Cup: Nigeria, Algeria, Ghana, Cameroon & Ivory coast. Only 2 (Nigeria & Algeria) came out of the Group stage but never proceeded past the Round of 16. No african country has played in the World Cup Semis. And until Africa resolve to develop and optimize the many talents deposited in it, the trend will never stop. http://kaybaba.com/africa-may-never-win-world-cup/

WOW. We're missing a lot. I never knew most of this players are from Africa. God Bless Africa but we just don't want to create an Arena for them to develope their skills on Africa Soil plus they don't give the right ones the chances to shine. |
