I love singing...alot! And ave gat a nice voice, vry vry angelic nd evri1 cherish it. The problem is I have a vry bad Stage fright, I cnt face crowd, aw faint if I eva try it. Lol. I cnt join any choir, or singing group. Only my roomates, family membrs nd close frnds knws about my precious talent. Everynyt I picture myslf b4 a huge crowd singin wit passion nd pple dancing nd hailin me...nd funny enof am a Law student ooo. Lol. This stage fright shaa. NOw don't I rili have a problem  N.B. Dunno which section 2post dis, sorry its here. |

God can't solve your problem either. The only person that can solve this problem for you is YOU! Look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself "I can do this". What may eventually make your star to shine is not law but that thing you are running from. Fear is just Fake Evidence Appearing Real. I'll recommend a book for you on Public Speaking. 3 Likes |

Stage fright is completely normal. The best way to manage it is to sing anyway. Close your eyes if you will. Just sing. The nervousness in you works both ways. Tilt it to benefit your performance. 1 Like |

As a lawyer in the making, I expect that you will not have such a problem. However, I have this feeling that it is not all about stage fright but more of " will people approve of me ? What will they say concerning my type of singing? You desire approval from people which I won't say is a bad thing, but learning to make use of only the useful comment of people will help you. The amazing thing is that the only way to overcome stage fright is practice. Virtually everybody experiences a degree of nervousness while facing a crowd but the more you practice, the more you get over it. You can start with a small group of friends & work your way up gradually. 1 Like |

Practice, Practice, Practice is the key. You could try singing in front of friends and family first, then later you could try singing in your church choir(it would be much easier because you have other people singing with you). Never miss out on an opportunity to sing even if it is on the road while you are walking. Since you are schooling there may be a couple of school shows, try singing in one of them. Ans a trick that I used was not to focus on anybody in the crowd. Try focusing on an inanimate object - trust me nobody would know the difference. |

come out of your shelf and feel free...you are basically timid and lack the confidence until u speak to and encourage yourself that u have got a good voice and u want to inspire people with it then u are good to go. |
