Olucheye: Who Offers An Pompous, Egoistic Man Like Keshi Another Tenure To Run Our Team, When there are other men we could hire, and get the job done perfectly without being Silly and Noisy about it.

No Matter how highly placed you are as a man, if you can't stand criticisms, then you are not worthy of leading any team.
Keshi who's ego almost pushed him to drop Osaze from the National team to represent in Nigeria at Brazil, same who eventually turned our savior.

Keshi can't stand being corrected or spoken to even when he hasn't won the World Cup, not to talk of winning the nations cup back to back. HELL NO to him being Nigeria's Coach again. He should go to South Africa where he's been wanting to go and let''s see what becomes of the proud idiat.

I often wonder what's wrong with us as a people... We don't insult white coaches the way we do our own. Most of Nigerians criticisms of the SE and Keshi are driven by sentiments, destructive and distracting. I have never seen a perfect team selection. And with his selections, he has set new records for indigenous coaches in Africa and made a strong case for them. Yes, he has reasons to proud and/or many things to be proud of. In saner climes, he will be a celeberated national figure and living legend.

I think Keshi is fed up with the politics infested NFF. why the hell did he call Yobo to the world cup politics of course. I don't blame him if he wanna leave. He is almost a puppet here. So if I am in his shoes... if NFF want they can decide to pay me 300 mil... I will go

donphilopus: We should stop encouraging this guy called Keshi, wrongly. The guy likes publicising himself. Btw, I thought he'd resigned, or was that just a publicity stunt?! Like Babayaro earlier said, “Keshi is confused”.

People like Keshi, Yobo and the useless/clueless Mikel Obi shouldn't have had their way back to Nigeria, because they've failed us as a country. What happened to Sanni Kaita after the 2010 World Cup, should have also happened to these useless guys!

it is surprising that up to 15 pple liked ur post. It only means at least 15 pple are as thoughtless as urself.
You were so stupid to compare sanni keita to any of the players. The only players that can ever be compared to keita are not even in the super eagles; they are in Uruguay and France in the hunan forns of suarez and matuidu (whatever the spelling).

How did keshi failed you as a nation? By paying his own assistant's salary because nff refused to pay? By staying for 7 months without pay? By spending his money along with amokachi to buy training equipments for SE? By winning the nation's cup for you after you have waited hopelessly for 19 solid years? By transforming the team siasia couldn't manage well to Africa champions? By performing wonders at the chan competition where he beat south africa on their home turf and turned the table against morroco in a most dramatic manner? By performing well against Argentina and France?

It is either you don't know the meaning of "he has failed us as a nation" or you intentionally turned your eyes away from his achievements.

Sixteen2012: chai..... NFF, NFF, NFF? How many times did i call you?. All dis moni for someone who cant change the game technically. I lost hope on keshi when he was interviewed on radio between award and money which will he go for. The man opted for money. Dats wen i was neva suprise wit match fixing claims. No wonder those bear stomach dosent allow him to think technically. Too much Egos but one of the luckiest coach on this soil.

maybe keshi is just being lucky. You nko what do you have? Bad luck?

Like I said on another thread regarding Keshi we need continuity in the national team..appoint another coach now and we will start all over again..The fact is we don't have quality players out there, we can castigate the coach over his choice of players but one thing is for sure we don't have much quality out there, if we have some1 like Mikel will never play in the team again..I think he deserves to continue with the team

otokx: This man cannot achieve more than what he has done now so he should step aside let Manu Garba take over. If he returns and fails to take us to the final of nations cup, ko si wahala o.

it is because of pple like you that we will never make impact in football on the world stage. Don't ur head show you the danger of hiring and firing coaches indiscriminately? Maybe we should refer you a nur/pry schl headmasters. Even they know how retrogressive it can be for pipils when they sack teachers indiscriminately.

dabossman:

Before the World Cup, tell me you didn't have Mikel on your own personal list for the World Cup. Mikel, Moses and Emenike were pivotal to our winning AFCON 2013. when Emenike and Moses didn't attend the Confederations Cup, many of you said we didn't do well in their absence. Now they didn't perform at the World Cup and you are all complaining.

Nigerians generally have short term memory, they are so quick to forget the good things Mikel had done for the SE,just because he had a below par world cup outing.

If the Netherlands had thrown Van persie away because he had a woeful Euro in 2012, i wonder where they would be today.

rosebowl01: I think they need to start testing coaches for drugs before or after games. This Keshi guy announced that he is resigning, then he said his contract ended that he never "quit".
He clearly is more of a typical Nigerian politician than a football coach. He is just looking for ways to stay in the headlines, and negotiate for an improved contract (more money). To him, the Super Eagles is just a business entity.
Let him go to those other countries that he indirectly keeps using to threaten Nigerians. They will continue to give him the Togo treatment (use and dump until he looses value). Useless man.

it is you who actually has problem. It is either you turn your browse upside down while reading the info, or you were reading the back of your browser, or you actually closed your eyes completely while reading, or you were reading it from right to left as if you were reading arabic language.
Keshi did not say he resigned. He simply said his contract has ended with the SE. The contract he signed with nff ended naturally after Nigeria's final match at world cup.

so you people think Keshi will build NEW team.
Ok na
come AFCON 2015, under Keshi, Mikel will still be playing 90 mins for eagles after sitting on the bench the whole season at Chelsea

And you know this because you googled it, or your Ifa priest told you so?

Our best option among the indigenous coach that could
Build a team is SIASIA any day anytime. Most of the players we have been recycling now in Super Eagle e.g Mikel and co were discovered by SiaSia.

Well if they like they can pay him a billion naira, I really care less so long as he is a nigerian and not one bloody foreigner, nigerian money should be for nigerians, and come to think of it, I'm sure he can still offer more given a favourable atmosphere, he really has surpassed my expectations, let's give him this more chance and see, as no foreign technical adviser has achieved more with all the big money they were paid.

Be honest with yourself Brownlord. Before this World Cup, if anyone asked you to name a starting 11 for Nigeria, will Mikel and Moses not have been on that list?

Again, be honest.

Very true, but since both of them don't follow keshi to Brazil and they left their football sense with their girlfriend or wife, why dint keshi do what a sensible coach with do, mikel played nonsense all through the game, the annoying thing is he could not proven pick injury that's why I'm angry, Someone need to be benching mikel seriously, he's getting too comfortable in the team

Lol, well, maybe Keshi thought his game would pick up eventually. Balotelli scored for Italy in their first game and was largely anonymous afterwards, but he started Italy's games. Besides, who on the bench could have replaced Mikel? We saw Ramon Azeez against Iran and Uchebo against Argentina. Remember the USA friendly? Mikel was subbed and the middle fell apart. Mikel had the opportunity to sell himself on the World stage and he failed woefully.

As I said earlier, I would not giv a new contract cos he will repeat d same tin. He will call up gud players during qualifying stages and wen d main tournament starts, u will see ruban gabriel, ucheabo etc. Den wen u try to advice him and tell him to peak players based on current form, he start screaming interference. IMO, he should try his luck else were.
