O.k I took the Liberty of providing definitions to the topic so as to make sure everyone comprehends the message.

Thank you brother okija, very nice of you to help us out with the definitions, if we examine the first definitions closely we see something similar to all which is "accepted moral standards". When it comes to issues of the law that governs a country for instance the moral standards change by the day, one trend we see that is a constant is that constitutions especially in modern democratic societies tend to bend towards treating a human being humanely regardless of whatever crime the person has committed. Hence we see constitutions moving from hanging to firing squads to the electric chair and then to lethal injections and then settling for just plain life imprisonment. We here terms like parole and pardon all to give a person a second chance to better.
Lets not loose focus now I am trying to say in a nut shell we like to be treated with a touch of mercy added to it and that brings us to our second definition which is symmetry. I would like to take the word sameness from that definition, the same regardles s. If we relate this to morality above, we see that we all want to be treated equally, hence the popular phrase no one is above the law. Sameness when applying the law to everyone.
Now back to the issue at hand, as a christian I am quite sure that one must have sang the praise or worship song titled "Unchangeable God" is that really true? What I would with your help of course like to show is that the bible is the last place we should run to if we are looking for moral examples because practices in the bible do not meet up to the "accepted moral standards" for today and that the bible clearly lacks moral symmetry.
Bible story of the day coming up anybody that has anything to add to the preamble can do that.

davidylan*:

thou hypocrite. Start with islam.

David. How? What's it with Islam? Not beyond cheap shots, eh? You've heard of the "you too" argument, no?

davidylan*:

He is just one of the very few smart muslims who know that the tenets of the sharia law and the hatred that almost all muslims seem to be able to muster anytime Jesus Christ is mentioned no longer sits well with western civilization.

Condescension, David, condescension. "One of the very few smart muslims. . ." That's not a nice way to write about more than a people numbering over a billion; and I'm certain you've only heard/read of only a litle whinny tiny fraction of that number; how could you come to a conclusion about Islam by considering the loudest voices claiming to be Islamic? You coudl do better than that, David. And no, "almost all muslims" muster no hatred at the mention of the name of Jesus. When you understand something to be idolatry, you may be filled with righteous anger, not so? Hatred at Jesus? C'mon!

Chrisbenogor:

@david
Ok oh I throway salute, nimshi muslim mind boggling, how did he overcome all those hatred and know know that characterizes most of them, he even does not seem to like all those stoning and cutting things practiced na wa wonderful shall not end.

Chris: this post's dripping with condescension, eh! Hatred; of whom? We all know that religion is a useful tool in politics; happens all the time in Islam; happens all the time with Christians; didn't George Bush hear God's voice about Saddam? Now see how many Iraqi lives wasted. Don't lets get started with religion and politics.
