Went to pick up my laptop today. It was in great (if not greater...lol) cosmetic condition.

What laptop is that?

"Out of range" is likely due to the depth of the resolution on the laptop. Change the settings on your external monitor. If an external monitor cant project a laptop -then its not a bad screen-but bad motherboard (video card on the board).
In your case it could be cracked screen or loose cables.
But 5k to fix a screen looks cheap to me.

If external monitor says "out of range" I cant 100% conclude that its a video card issue.

From what I think, the power module should be the problem not the screen or signal cable.

No-shipping is charged by weight-$5 per pound. A 15.6 laptop for example weighs from 6 to 8 pounds after packaging with the charger-so that is $30 to $40,whereas a netbook weighs 2 to 4 pounds ($10 to $20).

We also charge a commission of $30 except where the items is low priced. We would not charge $30 commission for example on a $40 item.

Phones are billed at $20 for both shipping and commission.
