Thank God for saving his soul.... It's not as if the traditional rulers and ogbonis are the greatest treat to Christianity or Islamic religion coz they don't kill with guns, bombs or kidnap people but only do their sinful works using gods that are powerless.
Looking for that glorious day(s) when the dreaded deluded boko boys will accept peace and stop killing innocent people, may God that deliver Boboye grant peace to the troubled souls who are still living in denials of committing evil acts.

shaggy007: Rubbish article. I'd rather be a proud Ogboni member than a Muslim or Christian.

While you guys run away and belittle our African traditional religions, the whites embrace our African religions.

There are more whites in Ogboni (ROF) than Africans.

See how they've deceived you? They brought in missionaries to introduce Christianity, while silently stealing our true religion.

These are the little 'gods' that God has created to help us. Why do you think God doesn't "answer prayers"? He has given you other 'gods' to make it easier to communicate with him. But people have ignored the little 'gods' and think they can pray directly to God. Dream on and keep deceiving yourselves.

1st commandment: thou shall not worship any other god before me

Make sure you acknowledge The Lord before communicating with other 'gods'

I tire for Africans o.
We were not deceived. Even though we want to think we were deceived,, the holy ghost in us makes us believe the reality of Christianity more than ever.

he's going to heaven. While those who served God for long but fell into little sin before they bit the dust would be roasted in hell. Is christianity not just and good? Lol

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".
- I John 1:9

"Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.
- Isaiah 1:18

Jesus PAID the PRICE on the CROSS.
How many chances do you get to sin? So you can murder and confess like every other week?
The one that always baffles me is those people that pray that God will punish you undecided They will pray fire, destruction and suffering for the enemies asking God to revenge. Meanwhile the Saints are directly in relation to the Orishas.

Yea? Have you ever heard of Milton Blahyee? He's the Liberian cannibal who is rumored to have murdered thousands of children and dined on their corpses. He too is preaching the gospel now, having been miraculously converted by Jesus in one these frequently recurring Christian visions. Would you support his ministry? LOL.

Heaven, God doesn't judge a man with his past...for we are all sinner at one point in our lives...and all sin are equal in the eyes of GOD.

Have you ever wondered why Yoruba religion is the strongest Traditional Faith in Africa?

and probably the world after Hinduism, CTRs,etc.

I have a distinct feeling that it is because of the Ogboni Brotherhood that Ifa Orisha holds a lot of power in Yorubaland and couldnt fall prey to missionary activity.

Makes me wonder why only Yoruba religion survived in the diaspora out of all other tribes during the slave trade. .

Is it just a coincidence?

Or is it something that runs much deeper. .

God cannot be mocked. Continuous sins and asking for forgiveness means the fellow is not read yet to be saved.

If he just stuck to his deliverance story without mentioning any church's name, I would have belived him but mentioning that church's name means this is just an advert to promote dat church. From juju to 419!

My friend it is you that is mocking God thinking that you can sin and confess and it is over. God is not judgemental but very fair and he put in place laws that are Universal one of them is what ever you do comes back to you so stop preaching untruths and use your spirit when reading your bible.

I suggest you read about other faiths and broaden your knowledge. Nothing wrong with using the bible as your spiritual power but stop being judgemental it is very un Christ like.

Useless herbalist. Instead of him to perfect his skills as a Yoruba herbalist, he traded is faith at the detriment of his culture and his people. Well, he's a bad herbalist. There are still some good herbalists out there.

In the past century, the crimes christains carried out in the name of heresy has no boundries. From burning of witches, stoning to death, killing babies, slavery and unwarranted crucifixion.

I'm so amazed with the way most Africans, especially Nigerians accepted the religion that was subjected to enslaving our forefathers.

Did most christains even know that the most used bible in Nigeria, King James version, the real king was gay?!

Guys, see the biblical ways christains used to kill children. To the atheists, explorers, philosophers, scientists, non believers and the soul called sinners! Don't take your children to a christain family for vacation if you don't have a good history with such a family. Infact trust no christain, they're eat babies!
