at the hotel, Linda and Tara excused themselves and went to the conveniant room.
'Tell me Linda, are you already having second thoughts?'
Tara asked her. Linda stared intently at Tara before making a reply.
'I'm not sure if i made the right decision. I'm scared Henry won't change for good.
Jordan did change after he married you. Do you think i'm good enough to make Henry discard his numerous lovers?'
Linda sadly lamented her sister-in-law.
'Linda, i believe that Henry loves you. Both of you are simply blind to this fact. I'd advice you to just be yourself, both of you will work things out'
They finished their business and emerged from the room to find their husbands waiting. Linda smiled, these men were imposible.
'what are you doing here?'
Tara asked them.
'we are here for our wives. Is it a crime?'
Jordan uttered in false annoyance. He drew his wife away to the reception hall.
Linda and Henry were left at the hall way.
'mrs Joseph'
he called her
'mr Joseph'
she called him back.
'thanks for marrying me sweetiepie, what do you want for a wedding present?'
he asked her as he moved to her and filled the space between them.
Linda knew what she wanted for a wedding present; she wanted to be Henry's woman. She wanted to owned him without any woman's interferance.
She wanted to tell him all these but she dare not.
'don't worry mrs Joseph, i know just what to give...'
he didn't complete the sentence, she couldn't. Not with her standing there in her white looking like a goddess.
He leaned towards her for a kiss. He kissed hard and pined her against the wall.
Linda moaned. This isn't right, she thought. This is a public place and they have guest waiting.
'Henry, no please'
she managed to say.
'why not? You are my wife and i want to kiss you'
He whispered to her. Linda moaned softly as his hands slipped into her dress.
'You have guests downstairs man. Contend your lust for now and behave like the adult you are'
They heard Jordan say. He was standing behind them.
Henry managed to let go of Linda. They walked to the reception hall. Daisy sighting her mother burst into tears.
Linda walked up to Shan for Daisy. The reception came to an end.
She was introduced to so many people she didn't even know.
Jake had congratulated them. He told her he was happy they've finally got married.
'Linda, when is your brother leaving town? He had been staring at my wife and i'm trying my best to not get angry'
Jordan told her sheeplessly. She smiled.

she managed to tell him.
The guests began taking their leaves by 4pm. Linda wished her parents a safe journey back home.
Soon, they were left alone except for Tara and Jordan.
'Henry where are you guys having your honeymoon?'
Tara asked and it occured to Linda that she too didn't know. She looked up expectedly at Henry and waited for his reply.
'Here, there's a room specially reserved for us'
'oh, really?'
'yes'
Henry replied.
The four went up to the room. It was on the fourth floor. Henry opened the door and Linda went in first. She was suprised to find their suitcases already deposited there.
The room was large. It was decorated in pink. Pink had always been her best colour. Her eyes went to the bed.
She had expected a large bed but she was suprised to see a small but comfortable looking bed.
This bed can only carry two people, no more. Infact, the two people will have to cuddle lest one fall.
'isn't the bed small?'
she asked her husband with a frown on her face.
'this is exactly what i ordered for'
Henry told her with a wicked grinned.
She and Tara walked around the room. There was a one seater cushion in the room. A TV set, and a telephone.
The rug in the room was also pink and rich. The bathroom was small but very well equiped.
'if you don,t like the room we can get another'
Henry told her after Jordan and Tara had left.
'I like the room Henry, but the bed...'
'you can change anything in the room but definately not the bed. I specifically ordered for it'
He told her in no uncertain terms.
'Henry, i'm on my period'
Linda announced. Henry turned angrilly towards her.

Henry nearly shouted. He had planned for this night. This was his wedding night for christ sake and he can't have her.
'okay, i've heard you Linda'
He told her in annoyance.
'please help me unzip this gown. I need a bath'
she said as she turned her back to him. His hands trembled as he helped her out of the gown.
She was standing in her underwears and Henry sighed in frustration. He looked at the bed. Three days sleeping with Linda and not having any intimacy with her will kill him.
'Henry, i forgot to pack pain killers from home. Can you go out and get me some while i bath?'
'as you command my lady'
he told her in a light tune and left the room. Linda entered the bathroom for a bath. She had a long leisurely bath. It wasn't until she heard a tap at the door that she left the bath.
she put on a robe and went into the room. The TV was on and Henry was listening to music. She hurriedly unzipped her suitcase for panties, sanitary pad and a nightie.
She felt his eyes on her and this made her uncomfortable.
'you are staring!'
'shouldn't i?'
she quickly put on a white nightie
. She let out a soft laughter. He unsealed the pill and gave it to her with a glass of water. She swallowed the pill and drank the water.
Henry couldn't bear it, he won't survive seeing her looking so sweet and yet not touch her. He needed a drink-alone. Henry walked to the door.
'get some sleep Linda, i'm going out and please don't wait up for me'
He told his bride. Her heart missed a bit. Where was he going? To another woman because he couldn't have her? She bit her lower lip to stop herself from crying.
'where are you going?'
she asked him. Henry turned to answer her. Her eyes stopped him. They were filled with sadness and pain.
Henry went to her and placed his palms on her cheeks.
'do not be sad sweetypie. Why are you so sad?'
she didn't say a word. Henry kissed her on the lips. He led her to the bed.
'i have been married for a few minutes and i'm already a bad husband.
He removed his clothes and went to her. He helped her into the bed and slipped in beside her.
'worry not Linda, these three days won't be the end of our marriage'
He pulled her closer to him and hold onto her her.
'we need to get some sleep. We are both tired'
'yes Henry, we are both tired'
A few minutes later, he heard her breath evenly. She was already asleep.
'i won't ever let go of you Linda. You make me complete'
he told the room. Before he slept, Henry promised himself something;to bring back his old Linda-no matter what it will cause him.

She opened her eyes slowly. She was in her husband arms. Her stomach felt so empty. She was hungry and needed a bath.
She managed to slipped from the bed without waking Henry. She brushed her teeth and had a warm bath.
She felt better today but her heart cried for Daisy. She had never been seperated this long from her baby.
She tip-toed into the room so as not to wake Henry. She dressed in a pair of blue jeans and yellow top. She called room service and ordered for breakfast.
Henry stired. He smiled up at her and she winked. She watched him enter the bathroom for a bath.
He didn't take long. He returned and joined her for breakfast.
'Eat everything up mrs Joseph. I've got a suprise for you and i know you will love it'
'what is it?'
she asked him.
'you shall see'
he told her with a smile on his handsome face. Linda wondered what it could be.

I think it's too early to conclude whether or not the decision is right. Wedding just ended now we want to see how the marriage will look like.
