The fact is I believe that I have moved on since I left Nollywood when Nollywood had no name in 1996. And their local mentality and mediocrity put me off.

Imagine if you ask Jim Iyke to name the titles of all his movie credits and the guy would be scratching his head. Because they rush into scores of productions just to make more money without bothering about the quality of the screenplays or the crew. And they have lost count of the number of movies they have acted.

If they pool their resources together and make four major films every year, they would fare better than rushing to make 1,000 home videos every year and most of them are just recycled bin stuff. GIGO.

I have read all the posts with regards to the purposedly reasons why Ms. Nnaji may or may not be witholding the identity of both her child and father's names.
One must be mindful of the fact that we are all different, and as a result deals with situations differently. As one poster mentioned there may be some hurtful situations underlying the circumstances in which she became pregnant. Maybe she was raped, or maybe the father is a deadbeat, or maybe he was and still is married, maybe they both promised never under any circumstance to ever release the name of the father.
The truth is we are all human thus, we all make mistakes. We have all made our fair share of mistakes and pray that they can all suddenly disappear.
I am apalled as to why the paternity of Geneive's child is of such importance. I strongly recommend that her raw talent should have been our main concern. There is obsolutely nothing wrong with having a child, she has proven that over and over. Her having a child and being a single mom did not in any way deter or prevent her from reaching for the stars, and so should everyone of us.
No! I am not a Genevieve fan, actually am a Omo, Mike, Ramsey, Stella and RMD fanatic. Just saw it fit to get involved. So once again quit the investigation, leave that for the people in Washington who are yet to find any WMD. Let Genevieve, her child and her baby daddy rest in peace.
