The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says it’s not true that it has shut its doors against any member of the Party wishing to contest for the office of Governor in the State in 2015. The party through a statement issued by Jerry Needam, Special Adviser on Media to the State Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah said this in response to rumours in some section of the media that the Party has stopped the leader of the Party in the State, and Supervising Minister of Education, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike from contesting the 2015 governorship election. |
