He isn't spreading false information. That was exactly what I thought when I read through their site, until I read the FAQ. That was when I realized they meant "You need no programming knowledge to apply", but after engaging in the home study, which would be sent after your application, you should have learnt the basics required to scale through the bootcamp.
The problem here is the time between the application and the bootcamp. Hence its so difficult(maybe possible) for a complete newbie to programming to absorb everything in the home study before bootcamp.

Bro you don't need all this functions. Everything can also be nested inside the number_games function.
You just need a for loop to iterate over the array. Then use a filter function to filter out even or odd numbers as the case may be.

I'll just give you a headstart....

   //declaring an empty array to store the numbers
    let result = [];

 //declaring starting condition of i = y, since X is greater than Y

With this approach you can do the second one for the odd number.. Still use if statement and the for loop.

Hey bro, weldone.
Firstly, you don't need to sort because the numbers will always be in order.
Secondly, if you use (x,y) for even function, then you should use (y,x) for odd function.
Thirdly, ensure you don't leave those console.log in the code you will be submitting

including that will return both the starting and ending num if its even when checking even num and vice versa for odd.

I think what the OP want is to return the nums in between the start and end without including the original num, i have updated my ans to this.

I wiissh I can upload videos you will see and hear some followers saying that don't have any idea of programming but when they came to andela they now know how to do this and that... Then why are there posting videos of such testimonies.

When I filled my form for cycle 41 I came acroos this section that said " no experience of programming required " then why is just comment on there site....

Which particular test? Cycle 41 or 42? Cycle 41 test has being sent since... And the deadline is January 3rd. Bro about improving yourself.... you don't need to be an expert before applying to andela. Just be Teachable and willing to learn!
