There was fire outbreak yesterday at Awolowo Hall at about 11pm,
There were not much people within the hall as all went to Post Graduate hall to watch the world cup, however awo blk 7 basement was
set on fire, taking out two rooms. It also took d intervention of oau fire fighters as their was no water within the hall as result of the on going strike, some tends to claim that it is the plot of the management to send everyone away....we keep our fingers cross of what will happen today...

Am once a student of oau and am an engineer even with going to d spot i know wel dt fire cannt burn in a room and enter another room. Does dt design d buildg r nt mad. Them no wat they r doing. So to me if u tel me a bunk burn ño wahala but a room nt to tak of two. Na plot

Na candle or osupa fit cause am...because no constant electricity. Naija uni sha! Student study under harsh condition. Na wah! But funny enough though, many naija graduates are high achievers. they really motivates themselves.

Oh my Awo! Block 8! Sad. My 4 years in that hall were crucial is refining me. Over and over again, if given the chance, I would always stay in Awo. It's in the blood. Now, there is nobody I can't live or relate with.
