Our client, with head offices in Abuja, is an innovative and emerging leader in construction industry involved in engineering construction, fabrication, procurement, dredging, as well as oil and gas contracting.
We have been charged with the mandate of searching for very experienced professionals in the positions described hereunder:

ACCOUNTANT (Nigerian)

Key Responsibilities:


The preferred candidate will be responsible for company accounting, budgeting, cash management, financial planning and reporting.
Ensure the setting up and management of reliable and efficient bookkeeping procedure and accounting systems
Utilising and applying appropriate accounting control measures and treasury management principles.
Ensure financial information analysis and rendering of timely and accurate financial accounts.
Liaison with the various banks on accounting financial matters.
Develop, implement and maintain construction management system including job costs, cost codes, contracts, change orders, purchase orders and various construction progress reports.
Review and analyze capitalization of costs and manage process for proper coding of construction invoices.
Maintain contract documents and prepare/gather materials related to construction and cost accounting matters for internal and external auditors.


Qualification, Experience & Competencies

Good degree in Accounting and professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA) in Accounting with a minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Peachtree Accounting software
