Four German players have been included on FIFA’s ten-
man shortlist for the 2014 World Cup Golden Ball.
The Golden Ball is awarded to the best player at the
World Cup, with the winner voted for by
representatives of the media.
The award was first handed out to Argentina striker
Mario Kempes at the 1978 World Cup and has since
been awarded to the likes of Diego Maradona, Ronaldo,
Zinedine Zidane and Diego Forlan.
The full shortlist is as follows:

The overwhelming favorite seems to James "don't call me James" Rodriguez. The guy had a terrific tournament!
At only 22, he still has a long career ahead of him.

Hamez (James) Rodriguez is d outstanding player of this tournament . 6goals in 5 games wit 2 assists with a Colombian team . Messi has not scored in d knock out and besides , his group was d weakest , Das y he scored 4 goals , he was crap against d Dutch and a good goalkeeper wud hv saved his spot kick .
