When we first saw the shocking pic of former love rivals Chris and Drake collaborating in the studio, we had a feeling that Rihanna wouldn’t be pleased about her exes working together. But guess what — Drake doesn’t give a hoot about how the ‘Diamonds’ singer feels because his music ‘comes first,’ a source says.
Drake, 27, is on a mission to become an even bigger superstar than he already is, and if that means setting aside his differences with Chris Brown, 25, and making new music with his former enemy, then he’s not about to let Rihanna, 26, stand in his way.

Rihanna On Drake & Chris Brown New Music: Drake Doesn’t Care If She’s Mad
Drake has always been considerate of RiRi’s feelings but now that they’re no longer a couple, he’s putting his desires and his career first and moving full speed ahead with his Chris Brown collaboration.

“He’s sure Rihanna doesn’t agree with him working with Chris, but at the end of the day, he’s going to make his own decisions,” a source close to Drake tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “And like he told Rihanna from the jump, he’s about his music and that comes first — even if it is doing a collab with Chris.”


“Hate is a strong word and he can’t control Rihanna‘s feelings. One thing Drake isn’t about is negativity,” our source explains. “He never really discussed Chris when he was with Rihanna because, I mean, there was really no point. He didn’t really want to listen to her tell stories about him either but he did because he felt like that was his job in that role as her man at the time.”

Chris Brown & Drake In Studio Together: Upcoming Collaboration?
In an Instagram pic posted by Rap Radar’s Elliott Wilson on July 11, Chris and Drake can be seen hard at work in the studio, surrounded by beautiful women, including Breezy’s on-again, off-again love Karrueche Tran.

Chris appears to be mid-song and it looks like Drake likes what he hears. Sorry, RiRi, things may not have worked out between you and Chris or you and Drake, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t have a successful relationship!
