It was meant to be the dream of a nation.. A dream they've waited 1460 days (4 years) to fulfil. but it has crumbled in just 90 minutes with little or nothing they can do to it and its only now an illusion.. Brazilians can only can now use the word "Had it been".. All the investment, the hope, the anticipation on winning a world cup (Or finishing with a medal at least) on home soil and banishing the demon of 1950 has now gone down the drain.. it all started with the demolition at the hands of The efficient German machines now to a humbling defeat in the play off stage to a Well organized Dutch side! What went wrong? 1. Was it a tactical problem? 2. Was it due to their style of play 3. Was it psychological due to the loss of star player to injury 4. Or the pressure of winning on home soil? share you views nairalanders! 1 Like
