Please nairalanders, i need clarifications on this subjects,In Between Old Testament and New Testament,which one out of the two is ideal as a christian to follow.

Why are we referencing old testament when it comes to tithe issue, while otherwise in other cases/issues.I don't think there is tithe pa lava in new testament,everybody is expected to work for a living.

the old testament was written to the JEWS
the new testament was written to Christian
the non tithers believe tithing has been abolished with the law
while tithers believe because Abraham gave tithe to melchesedec Christian are required to give tithe to jesus who is our high priest and melchesedec in a figure
the tithe issue shouldn't be a problem in Christiandom
we Christian are to follow strictly the new testament
the tithe issue is causing controversy because it was mentioned even in the new testament especially Hebrew 7 and Mathew 23:23
tithers also believe when christ said AND NOT LEAVE THE OTHER UNDONE in mathew 22:23 he was referring to tithe

OP, it will be nice to show us exactly what the old testament is and what the new testament is with scripture. Then it will be easier for us to know what each says don't you think?
A hint, each testament was sealed with blood.
Everyone is expected to work like you said for a living. Everyone just has different kind of work they do.

Both are needed to have a balanced Christian life. One tells you how it used to be, the other tells you how it is presently. Both are needed for a better understanding of the life we are called to live.
