Especially in poverty. You can't judge true love until the chips are down.

Here in the US high divorce rates are tied in to high unemployment periods and to couples who are going through hard financial times.

On the flip side, there's a homeless Guy near my work who has a Dog. This Dog in unchained and could have ran off at anytime but she still sits with the owner and sleeps on the street.
