my little advice..... I studied Public Administration years back, but I hv strong interest on computer so I enroll into Cisco intern program with d aim of becoming a network administrator/engineer. I don't think am doing back with my little practice.
You can if you strongly believe...... Even at our higher Institutions you won't be taught about routing and switching.
its a good career pathway to choose, learning never stops in d field of Cisco.

If you need to study any of these course at your own time, you could use video tutorials from examdeal.net . They are self explanatory. Also , i think linux is growning now in Nigeria . Everyone seems to have CCNA,CCNP well.. nothing bad if you joing the trail. However, for me i will say go for the elementary first.. like Comptia A+ then step up to MCTS or any microsoft cert, then Linux, then Cisco. this was the path i followed.

Cheers!

In most University Institutions even abroad, you will not be taught about routing and switching unless they have a Cisco Networking Academy at their respective University.
