Unfortunately, there's no yardstick for measuring that. City has conceded at home to liverpool and stoke this season and has managed just 1 cleansheet so far. It all boils down to intuition + luck.

If I'm to stick to my default formation - the 3-5-2, that would see an in-form Naismith sit out the game for Sigurdsson - who'd be adding up to the bodies in midfield.

If I'm to create a space for Naismith, then I'd have to opt for a 3-4-3 formation which would see Sigurdsson get dropped to the bench.

Both players would be lining-up against not-too-decent yet stubborn teams this weekend (Palace and Southampton) at home.
