kingvicking:

Listen to gospel praise (high praise not those studio work o)
Try rehearsing stuffs you hear other drummers play,
Work on your stickings single strokes, double, triplets etc
Work on speed development.
You can also download videos on kick development by John Blackwell or Dave Weckl.
Get a drum stick and rehearse with your pillow ( or drums pad if you can afford one)
2 things you should always know are
1. The more you think about drums, the more you get to know about it.
2. The is no one you can't learn from, either a beginner, intermediate or pro
Jregz:
I'm still learning... am like 57% good but I don't practice regularly, only practice anytime e enter my head
[color=#006600][yea I buy dat idea..rehearsing always is jux the only truth..and try to attend programs where several drummers will show wat the gat..

Are you a God fearing keyboardist with excellent skills? Do you have the qualities a true praise/worshipper must possess? If yes, there shall be auditioning on February 25, 2016 at 75, Aina street, off Grammar School, Ojodu. Lagos.

Call or whatsapp Tayo on 08020752514 for more information.
