Poem: I Come To You. . . by StephenP(m): 3:21pm On Oct 13, 2008
I come to you with a craving I know you can fulfill,
A thirst quenchable by your poise,
A hunger satisfied by your mind.

I listen as you speak,
Soaking the words that leak from your lips,
They lift me high upon the clouds,
There I reside mesmerized,
Letting the sound of your voice soothe me like a lullaby,
Inviting you into my dreams,
In you I find peace.

I watch you,
Your essence’s a remnant of great sorceresses and wise queens,
You are a force,
And like a magnet you pull me on course towards you,
With your stance,
Your character worthy to be defined as that of a woman.
I look to you in awe,
Begging to kiss the lips of a woman who has drank from the elixir of the goddesses,
And defiantly conquered all odds that called for her to fail.
You sail on an ocean of victory with scars to show that it wasn’t easy,
The journey of a woman, a history untold,
I long to unfold.

And so I,
Come to you with a craving I know you can fulfill,
Not of the physical,
But of the priority of the soul.
My mind needs your mind,
My heart needs your heart,
My love needs your love,
My all needs your all.

You dare to string pearls using searing heat!

Careful, lest your craving twists you entirely- making you weak.

stephenP!
i always said i loved ur works
but ill repeat it once more
i love this piece
i love the way u make the object more than an object,
like a force,
energy
pure energy
yet very human
with "scars" to prove that
i might be biased cos im a woman,
but i love the way the work almost exalts her to the position of a goddess above other goddesses
i guess those that told us not to give up on the male race were right afterall
there still exists some good ones

I am aware of the consequences, yet, I come to you because you are my strength.
