ALHAMDULILLAH.... The Sultan of Sokoto Alh.Abubakar Saad has announced that the new moon of Shawwal has been sighted in Adamawa,Zauzau,Hadejia and Borno State. So,tomorrow 27th July 2014 has been declared as the 1st of Shawwal by the Sultan. Eid Mubarak to you all. 1 Like |

Alhamdulillah the new month of Shawwal has been sighted in many palaces in Nigeria. The Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammadu Sa'ad Abubakar III, head of Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and president-general of the Nigerian National Supreme Council for Islam Affairs (NSCIA) has declared that, In Sha Allah Tomorrow Sunday 27th July to be the day to celebrate Eidul-Fitr, after the crescent of a new moon has been sighted according to the Sunnah of moonsighting. O Allah! We have indeed believed, forgive us then our sins and save us from the agony of the fire, and give us millions of reward in this beautiful month of Ramadan and paradise to be our last home, Ameen. Happy Sallah to the entire Ummah!
