Yoruba belief the sourness of pap(OGI/AKAMU) depend on the hand of the person who process it, wayback when my mum is processing it, she will call me to dip my hand inside the pap bucket while sieving it to make it sour. And it always turn out to be sour and sweet; she tried it once with my sister hand, the pap no get taste at all.

Steering of moin moin, akara, and butter (baking) should be through one way (clockwise or anti-clockwise) not to use the two together to make it better fluffy.

ALL IZZ WELL

if you are on your period and you fry akara, it never comes out well. (happened to me o)

if you perceive any sweet cooking aroma at night, you just perceived a witch's cooking.

dont eat pounded yam without soup, you will become deaf.

Don't prepare moin join when menstruating cos it won't be solid as in the moin moin will be as watery as when it was raw

Don't stir stew/soup clockwise and anti-clockwise the same time. Choose one

It's not good to eat new year immediately it comes out

Brb for more.....

You can't cut the oha leaves used to make oha soup with a knife. You have to use your hands or it won't be tasty. smiley

experiment... After numerous dipping of my hand in the pot in order to... You know.... I can say this is not true coz the soup don't get sour.

Hypotheses... Either my hands are super clean or this is just a myth...

Conclusion... Considering am nt the very meticulous type at that time, it is safe to conclude am nt germ free hence...... THIS IS JUST A MYTH

MrRhymes101: when removing the feathers of a chicken, don't make noise or they grow back
I believed this when I was younger, even now I still avoid talking when plucking. Funny thing though, I still notice those tiny feather-like strands on the birds, talk or no talk o!

Another one: when mixing all purpose flour, maintain one turning direction e.g if you are turning to the right, don't change it to left otherwise the mixture will not come out fine.

If salt touches yam flour, the amala will be watery even if it's rock hard when you make it.

Only what they say then is "don't drink coconut water, cos it makes you dull" and not don't eat head of fish as u claimed. Go and advertise ur product and stop talking fibbings.
