ogbeni, those structures makes your cities look like grave yard, I took my time to stroll around ijebu-ode today, I even passed the awujale of ijebu's palace and his compound didn't have an edifice with rustic roof, I notice that most of this buildings with rustic roofs are occupied by poor yoruba people. The rich don't have buildings with rustic roofs and most of the houses I saw are mud house covered in cement, I even saw aranse's house in molipa, I passed oba molipa ijebu's house and they don't have rustic roofs. read my statement carefully "I didn't see any building with rustic roof in awujale and oba molipa's palace", most of the occupants in those rustic roofs I saw are pepper seller and fufu makers and they are damn to numerous in the town. I saw felima, aranse and even dele odule's house and they don't have rustic roofs. In conclusion, rustic roof depicts the level of poverty in a town.
