Military Begins Enforcement Of No Movement Order In Maiduguri by uanda(m): 2:18pm On Jul 27, 2014
Residents of Maiduguri have been restricted from moving freely beginning from Sunday.

Though the military issued a press statement indicating the plan to stop vehicles from moving on the streets in order to check against the alleged plan of Boko Haram terror group to bomb public places during the El-Eid-Fitri celebration, this was expected to begin Monday.
.
In fact, the statement issued on Saturday evening stated that the closure of the road to vehicles start on Monday and end on Wednesday.

But the military swung into action Sunday perhaps because some Muslim faithful are having their El-Eid-Fitri prayer.
The closure of the road has made it impossible for many Christians to go to church to worship
