Is INEC Doing Enough To Educate The Nigerian Voter? by advo: 12:08am On Jul 30, 2014 |
2015 General Election is just by the corner. Going by the trend seen in Ekiti state for instance, during gubernatorial election there recently, where people just throw in their votes for mere gift of a bag of rice, relegating big issues like :Job creation, infrastructure, security, mass housing, education , etc, to the background, can anyone boastfully claim that INEC is at this moment doing enough to educate the Nigerian voter on important issues? |

It's not INEC's responsibility to tell the electorates the criteria of the leader they should vote for. An eligible Voter is 18 and above and is considered an adult capable of forming his or her opinion independently. INEC's job ends at providing a convenient platform and a conducive environment for the electorates to exercise their franchise. |
