in my Mother Tongue, igbo, HIV/AIDS is referred to as Obiri n'aja ocha (literally meaning ending in Red sand/mud) now I ask... What name could be locally given to this Ebola Virus? a friend told me "Ogbuu sharp sharp" (meaning kills sharp sharp) will be ok. which name do u think will fit to this deadly disease in your dialect? |
