A private medical jet that has landed in Liberia to take two Ebola-infected US aid workers for treatment in the US is only able to carry one of them at a time, it was revealed on Saturday.
The limited capacity of the specially-equipped aircraft, which has an isolation tent on board, means that one of the two aid workers will have to remain in Liberia for several more days before being flown to the US for expert treatment.
The two aid workers have been named as Kent Brantly, 33, a doctor and father-of-two, and Nancy Writebol, 59, a missionary and mother-of-two. Both are said to be in a "grave but stable" condition.
