fubbyy: A friend of mine who lives abroad said what he misses most is "toasting chick" anywhere you are, he said you dare not try it abroad else you got arrested for harassment,I don't know how true this is

I concur with this poster especially the "lonely"aspect, I have friends who hardly call me while they are in nigeria, immediately they get to abroad they started calling, texting, pinging me just to have that naija rapor

Another thing I noticed is that people who lives abroad always make us to feel that its heaven, they don't like telling us what they don't like about the place
undecided undecided

Bought roasted plantain from dat woman beside GTB on itire rd, I almost lost all my teeth. Sand full the plantain the groundnut nko? Half na stones.

Few nights later, I go buy suya for ogunlana drive, same thing sand.

You might miss the ability to blend in with the populace seamlessly without sticking out like a

sore thumb sometimes, like you would enjoy whilst back in the fatherland.

There is not one thing on that list that I miss. I miss family and some life long friends. The only thing I enjoy when I visit Nigeria is waking up in the morning in the village. All you hear is chickens and goats. No cars and loud noises. That's what I call relaxation.

Food and family. Period. End. I don't miss nosy and judgmental neighbors and constant noise, please.

However, I do love Nigeria, and plan on relocating when I finish my master's degree, though I was born elsewhere. #stolendreams #changenigeriamovement

I miss the noise of Generators! (Though welcomed)

I miss "fresh" Oogu vegetable (Pumpkin Leaves)!
I hate those spinach and replicas they call vegetable

I miss the freedom to "drive at any speed" l like! shocked shocked
You must always maintain speed limits otherwise .... License don full with "points" and "driving ban" go follow!

I miss the freedom to "spend my hard-earned money as l like"! angry angry
if Oyinbo see you with ordinary $10,000 or GBP "cash", .... come see investigation o! shocked shocked shocked

I miss "the deep throttle" of my sound machine!
I bought one and my neighbour peeped from his window while l was carting it inside.
Trust me, l have not even finished playing one CD finish before Police knocked on my door, ....the Eediat says he can sleep!
He cant hear the "sound' but says he was feeling the "vibration"! Oloshi Onyebeekee!!
I just sent the machine to my buddies in Nigeria, to enjoy. wink wink

Christmas is the worst time to be abroad!
Jeez, its like we are all "mourning Ebola victims" coupled with the phucking snow, everywhere!
Lagos Street Jamz, carnivals and inter-street soccer, l miss so much.

Is it not so funny that in Nigeria, people will play football on any surface, even hard cement surface, with bare feet, despite the injury it may cause..
But abroad, even "Astro turf" is lying fallow, so many well-cut green fields, but nobody to play on it! ......and all the children are inside sitting on a couch playing one PStation, GTX or the other console!

Bull-Shyte, those who have head, ....dont have Cap
....whereas those who have Caps, ....dont have head to wear it on!
Such is life

Nothing to miss about Naija. Africa is hell. If you have your money and good job abroad, you have nothing to miss about Africa jungle. You can't be in paradise and still remember hell. Naija is sickening. People are only existing they aren't living.
