Re: South African Music, Anyone? by RSA(m): 10:50am On Oct 29, 2008 |
Gamine: Thanks Gamine In Zulu you'll say "Ungakhetha, ukungithanda noma ungiyeke ngingedwa" mbulela: The song rock baba! yoh!yoh!yo! I think with that song it only shows the tip of what we can do together as young people. Metro rocks, but you must try Yfm its regional only in Gauteng but popular all over the country,it's a trend setter. femigirl: Yes sista, change is now, with Obama becoming a President why don't Naija and Mzansi unite and revolutionize African music, only music can do that. And also imagine the kind of influence in terms of fasion, culture it will have on all africans across the continent and the world. Just imagine |

Re: South African Music, Anyone? by mbulela: 12:18pm On Oct 29, 2008 |
the firewall in my office blocks YFM but not Metro. so i can only check out YFM when i get home, which is a few days away. i know YFM, although i was more into SAfm. i know it was not a music station but i loved the programs before they messed up the place with reorganisation. RSA, who do you prefer, between Unathi and KB? |
Re: South African Music, Anyone? by mbulela: 12:20pm On Oct 29, 2008 |
Gamine, you don't understand. it is partly an inferiority complex matter. the folks are scared shitless of us and not without reason. |
Re: South African Music, Anyone? by shilling(f): 12:23pm On Oct 29, 2008 |

Re: South African Music, Anyone? by RSA(m): 9:14am On Oct 30, 2008 |
mbulela: Unathi is cool, she got that voice, that u want to hear saying good morning everyday but I prefer KB,she is a damn live perfomer, that lady and her dancers are world class, her shows are innovative, sexy, lively and she got incredible body, ass to die for(Gamine, yeah I said it again,ASS) mbulela: Inferior complex?shit thats not South Africans you are talking about, maybe if you say they look down on other Africans might make a bit of sense, south africans where taught that they are the most advanced blacks in Africa, obviously it was not entirely true. From where I am sitting I think that Nigerians are treated like kings everywhere they go in Africa except in South Africa, and you know why?because both of us are too proud,we both like to dominate. Xenophobia is a fear of unknown,Imagine if you where locked in your house for your entire life and one day someone open the door and there are hundreds of people at your door and all them want to get in not to see you but to take what they want in that house, what will you do? Personally I think you'll have two choices one to go to the corner and hide aways from them, two approach them and tell them how they should behavein your house and tell them the rules of your house,in most cases Nigerians will tell you to fukc off,and thats where you feel that you are invaded and you have to defend your self.Does it make sense?Politics lets leave it. My favourate producer is DJ CLEO,his beats are off the hook! He produced for Bricks(sweety ma babe, left right,),Pitch Black Afro,Krazy Boy(KB of BigBrother fame,he can't use KB because of KB of Backstage fame) with that' how low can you go',and many more other cats.he is dope. femigirl: We all hopes and wish that Americans will dig deep down in their souls and conscience and choose the best leader that they have currently, and thats Pres. Barack 'Barry' Obama. You will enjoy your stay, wish u could invite me ,there are plenty of the hot places,in Sandton,Melrose Arc,Melville,Rivona even Soweto. So you are welcome. |
Re: South African Music, Anyone? by Gamine(f): 11:22am On Oct 30, 2008 |

Re: South African Music, Anyone? by mbulela: 1:37pm On Oct 30, 2008 |
RSA, please don't get me started on KB's ass pls!! one of the most agile asses i have seen in a long while and the tits ain't bad. the babe rocks. on that inferiority complex stuff, like you said,i guess we will leave that matter as it has some political coloration and i do not do politics. I just heard Kabelo and Danny K collabo on Metro. i love that track and Kabelo is my man. oh!! i have said that before, abi? |
