...Yes blame Mr Sawyer the liberian from today till next year it wont change the present... *** I stand to be corrected o,,but i've not heard of any Northern State Setting Up A Quarantine / Isolation / Traetment Zone or Preparing A Massive Public Enlightenment On The Dreaded Ebola Virus *** *** We should all call The attention their Governors To This Issue,,,,,,I Just hope & Pray They're Not Waiting For The Federal Government,,,,*** 1 Like |

*** Please i beg U in the name of whatever U believe in,,,,,Please dont Tribalise This tread........Tnx *** *** My thoughts are,,,,what if a Northerner gets infected with the virus knowing fully well how dificult it is for them( Northerners ) to accept the Polio Immunization which some of them still object to till date ... We know the Northerners travel a lot & they are the main players in Farming Business ,,,if Ebola gets to the Northern part of Nigeria ( God forbid ),,,then our "Unserious Nation" is in a serious Problem Greater than Boko Haram ! |

The south can deal with it's scourge. The governors and NEMA in the states should have prepared quarantine facilities to take care of any eventualities. For now, the south should deal with the disease and not spread it as I learnt it has already been spread to Enugu from Lagos. The majority of northerners are Muslims and have to wash their hands, feet, elbows and face 5 times daily before prayer so it's not shocking there's no case of Ebola in the north yet and the spread will be preventable. All luxury buses from the East should be checked for vectors henceforth before entering the north to prevent spread and buses carrying suspected victims should be turned back. Prevention is better than cure or quarantine. 1 Like |

Sharrap. Northern states are already taking steps. Kano state Govt has rising alert level at hospitals and prep quarantine facility in case. I think the state should screen passengers arriving both land and air from Sw n SE as EVD has been est in lagos and Enugu |

For now, the south should deal with the disease and not spread it as I learnt it has already been spread to Enugu from Lagos. *** You are so on-point Sir ***but what i'm looking at is what if it gets there,,,,i'm just bein realistic,,,,,You'll agree with me that not all Northerners are Muslim or Better Still Not all Northern residents are muslims.... Washing of hand and feet during / before prayer time is NOT A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE.....Do they use soap to wash before prayers ?....... Do all of them pray every minute or hour ?..... What if a Christian brings the Virus there ?...... What do they have on ground to tackle this Virus if it happens ?.... Knowing fully well how Educated the Northern part of nigeria is,,, Putting into Consideration how they react to drugs e.g...Polio Vacines & how religious they are ...,,,... "I See A Timed Bomb Ticking" ,,..,,Knowing a threat is one issue,,, Preparing for it is another issue,,,...,,, Evaluating a worse case scenario is another issue.......... '''' Prevention is better than cure.....Yes.......but how effective can we prevent this virus ?'''' Nigeria did the same thing ( Keeping Silent ) before the case "Mr Sawyer the liberian" ,,,, PLEASE THE NORTHERN LEADERS SHOULD NOT DO THE SAME.......PLS.... I pray it doesnt get to a stage where states will be clossing its boarders........God help us |
