Penny wise pound foolish is the idea of bringing the Army to come and guide your land. Think about how much you will pay the military boys, and will the Khaki boys be always be on the site 24/7. The best option is what the OP has suggested. Mind you, after the completion of the building, it is you and the omooniles at the site, not the military boys.

Excellent point. Both the omo-onile and the NURTW boys are apparatus in our political leaders hand.

Speaking from experience, the best way is to have enough money to complete the building within a short period and invite mobil police men or soldiers to guard your property till completion. Its not so expensive if one is connected to a head in any of these special forces.

These Omonile Signing fees to sign a Deed of Assignment are hardly used to develop the communities that they claim it’s for. When an enlightened Buyer sees in between their scams, these Community leaders or Chiefs will do everything possible to intimidate you, send thugs to scare you or beat you up, destroy or break down your fence or foundation and generally make life very uncomfortable for you violently until you pay them the money they demand from you. If you go to the police to report, the police will tell you to go and settle with them, if you become stubborn, these people would forcefully take over your land till you pay up. They are merciless, cruel, bloodsucking, greedy and downright selfish and they are not remorseful about their ways.

Dis omoline guys are hoodlums..i av heard of a case where a guy refused to settle dem,he deployed soldiers there..when he completed d haus,he muvd in...after like 2m0nths,he woke up,steppd outside his door and found to dead bodiez in his compound...to cut d long story short sha..he couldnt convince d police to believe him and was arrested.

Bros thanks for the info but on a serious note, a man in my place stationed very mean looking soldiers when he was decking his upstairs, no trace of omoniles was found there. The man did his roofing in the night with enough light on. Oh boy some people are just clever.
