Why This Extortion At The Muritala Muhamed AIRPORT LAGOS? by Mascotlawman: 9:15am On Aug 15, 2014
Am sorry to say it that there is no security in this country. Do u know that I can bring in whatever that I want to bring into this country provided am ready to pay the price in cash oo. This has happened to me many times, when u are going to see someone off, they claiming to be security men at the entrance telling u that u cannot go in with the person u came to see off unless u bribe them. Without minding ur mission. Once u give them some money that is all. Now I ask, why this extortion? Is that the way it should be? Does it mean that the airport authority is not aware of this? This is too bad. someone could take an explosives in there provided he settles the so called security men.

That is the least of the problems in the airport; just wait till you lose your money or other valuable items while your bags are being transported thru the conveyor belts or when the custom officials openly demand some cash from you or else they frustrate your life.

If you are seeing someone off, you can go with your int'l passport too so they will let you in.
