Even mischief has bounds. How can somebody wake up and all that comes to their mind is to open a thread to attack a tribe, religion etc. Stereotyping is worse than ignorance. I also was alarmed at the immensity of this cancer, judged by the quick and multitude response such threads generate. I tried to study the prominent characters involved here on nairaland and discovered that they are mostly bitter individuals. They never see beyond that lens of bigotry.
Bigots are most times hungry, jobless, pained, depressed, frustrated, hopeless, short-sighted, dirty-minded, disillusioned, angry, lost individuals. In their little minds, they always believe they are fighting for their group. When in actual sense they are only trying to boost their ego by putting others down. But do they really achieve that? The answer is capital NO cause once the battle here is over they go back to their tribal, spiritual, social, financial etc lows, which is the stack reality they were trying to feed in the first place by putting others down.
Bigotry can never make you better than anyone, it can only give you a temporary false succour. Truth is that people with self-worth dont put others down.
So if you are always involved in bigotry of any nature on Nairaland or any other platform, know it today that it can never change your miserable status in life. You can only change your status by striving and working positively harder to better place the group you profess.
