A silent battle for superiority might be brewing between top Nigerian entertainment brands the NET and pulse as Osagie Alonge, a top editor with the Adekunle Ayeni owned net has ditched the platform where he has been editor for 3 years for the relatively new Swedish family owned website Pulse.ng.

Osagie took to his Instagram page to announce the switch to shocked followers who responded in disbelief, before going ahead to wish him well.
The news is coming as a shocker as Osagie is believed to own some little shares at The NET, where he has been the main player running the platform with owner Ayeni Adekunle taking the back seat and concentrating more on his P.R agency BHM. However, an insider told Naija Whistle that Osagie might have earlier hinted on his intentions to leave NET as even while he was still there, it was widely speculated that he was secretly writing for another entertainment platform.
