Hello Peeps eversince I upgraded the gingerbread software on my note 1 phone to icecreamsandwich av been having problems with the phone such as downgrading of the camera quality; occasional hanging & the most frustrating problem which is poor battery performance. The battery doesn't last for more than 15minutes after a full charge during browsing... This has brought untold hardship to my use of the phone & I really regret upgrading the software but I just have to stick with it seeing only icecreamsandwich and above supports blackberry msging.

This has made me get very interested in getting a third party battery as I heard it lasts long... I will be very grateful for your help peeps!

I got mine on Amazon for $7. It is a double capacity battery. You can also get others that are the same capacity with the OEM's I recommend ONITE batteries. They are fairly inexpensive and come highly recommended.

Where can I do that safely as I heard if not done by an expert the phone might get spoilt permanently.

OP, u don't need to flash the phone, after upgrading an android phone, the next thing to do is to FACTORY RESET it, it is a MUST. once u reset it, that's when the new software u upgraded can access ur phones system nd make proper use of it. Backup all ur data nd do a factory reset.
