If the election is free and fair, I think Obama would win, but it won't be free and fair as "White" Americans are already clamouring that a black-man can never rule them. Mc Cain would win. let's be realistic |

Seun: @Seun, You're right! Though the "one blood rule" crap applies (any drop of black moves you to the black column), the racists would have been more "comfortable" with Obama had he married a blue-eyed blond from Amarillo Texas. |

so true about that historical colloquial one drop rule. Obama is biracial but i think we (blacks) label him black because of his skin tone. however, i can't help pointing out that he speaks more of his mother and grandparents who are white. His molding was from a non black family and sometimes I wonder if his identity is based on what others want him to be and not really who he is? On a flip side, i guess its how you see yourself. My brother is also biracial but he identify himself as white (skin tone). Does that deny his father as a black man? No. It's just how he identify himself and he own that identity. I am just happy the way Obama has run his campaign in a way that would accentuate, nor deny his ethnic background - from either parent. Obama/Biden 08 |

Obama is no different to any of the evil, White presidents before him. Why are black people so gullible? He is a relative of both Vice President Cheney (one of the most corrupt politicians on earth let alone America - remember the Halliburton scandals?), George Bush (33rd Degree Freemason) (need I say more?) and the Queen. See links below and also do your own research dummies. The white elite do no forget their blood even if Obama is a bastard child of theirs. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/10/17/all-in-the-family-cheney-and-obama-related/ http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20080326/obama_clinton_080326/20080326?hub=Health Obama has only gotten this far because he is a blood relative of the ruling elite. His loyalty will be to them and not you. Just because he has the same skin colour as us doesn't mean he has the interests of Africans or African Americans at heart. The Elite will only accept a black President if he follows the same neo-colonialist, White Supremacist program that America has been imposing on the world for years. The only difference is that Obama will do his evil deeds with a smile. |

As much as i love Obama to win, the reality on ground is that most of the polls that put him ahead might be wrong. There is a strong possibility that voters are not actually stating their true intentions. I also think that the media are bias in favour of Obama. When you add this to his unprecedented levels of spending on TV adds, i suppose there might be a backlash from voters who clearly will refuse to have the US presidency offered to the highest bidder. |

trustboy: The US. Presidency has always been offered to the highest bidder - it always has done, and always will be. American Presidents do not actually make their own decisions once in power - they are dictated to by the corporations who backed their campaigns (i.e. the highest bidder(s)). Look at how Halliburton benefitted from Bush's reign of terror. |

American Presidents do not actually make their own decisions once in power - they are dictated to by the corporations who backed their campaigns (i.e. the highest bidder(s)). Look at how Halliburton benefitted from Bush's reign of terror True, it does not matter if Obama or McCain win, the Presidency is sorrounded by a labyrinth of staff - - White House, - Departments - Agencies & Bureaus - Commissions and Boards White House alone has over 50 staffers whose primary role is to serve the President directly and they take orders from no one else but him. Each of those staffer is in turn staffed with assistants and deputies who interface downstream with a pool of general staff that perform push-button administrative and real time liaison duties and errands. Below them you have the itinerary and housekeeping staff - who attend to the secretarial and appointments and refreshments and stuffs. You add these together and you have close to 200 headcount. Each of whom is a privilege access to get the President's attention and influence his opinion and executive power. Lobbyists go through staffers to get to the President and so there is no President, regardless of his campaign vows that is truly insulated from the influence of money bags. This campaign season has demonstrated that to us vividly. The millions of dollars they are spending on ads, they are coming around to pay it back as favors to interest groups that their campaign benefited from during the general elections. There is no Change but you can expect more of the same. |

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Anchorage Daily News, Alaska's largest newspaper, endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama Sunday after declaring Gov. Sarah Palin "too risky" to be one step away from the Oval Office. "Like picking (Republican presidential candidate John) McCain for president, putting her one 72-year-old heartbeat from the leadership of the free world is just too risky at this time," The Daily News said. The newspaper said Obama "brings far more promise to the office. In a time of grave economic crisis, he displays thoughtful analysis, enlists wise counsel and operates with a cool, steady hand." The Daily News said since the economic crisis has emerged, McCain has "stumbled and fumbled badly" in dealing with it. "Of the two candidates, Sen. Obama better understands the mortgage meltdown's root causes and has the judgment and intelligence to shape a solution, as well as the leadership to rally the country behind it," the paper said. The Daily News said Palin has shown the country why she is a success as governor. But the paper said few would argue that Palin is truly ready to step into the job of being president despite her passion, charisma and strong work ethic. "Gov. Palin's nomination clearly alters the landscape for Alaskans as we survey this race for the presidency — but it does not overwhelm all other judgment. The election, after all is said and done, is not about Sarah Palin, and our sober view is that her running mate, Sen. John McCain, is the wrong choice for president at this critical time for our nation," the paper said. Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/us_elections_2008/7692731.stm |

U.S. Presidential Election on Tuesday, November 4. Many are saying this could be the most critical U.S. election in our time. Either for better or for worse, what happens with U.S. politics affects much of life in the rest of the world. Please see the AFA, American Family Association, Voter Issue Guide for the 2008 Presidential Race. Be sure to vote on November 4 and know for whom you are voting and for what each candidate stands. Be sure to pray for guidance and vote according to your conscience. |

Am afraid of what I watched on CNN today. They were showing pictures, as they call it, of his roots. These contain that of illiterate, tired looking family members who are also portrait living in penury. Do they really want Obama to secure his way to WH? Think no. |

This one hurt my heart. A day before we celebrate victory Peace Obama's grandmother dies hours before election Barack Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has died following a bout with cancer, Obama and his sister said today. She was 86. Obama, who spoke about his grandmother often on the stump, left the campaign trail for two days in late October to visit Dunham in Hawaii. GsUp: I don't know how to describe you with this post and link, just because Obama's related to the 5-7-8-9-19th great grand parents of some of the past and present American politicians, does that make him a bad and wicked person? i don't want to insult you, that's why i am keeping my cool, even you and your brother are different when it has to do with character and how you take decisions, so why is his own different? have you followed this election from the start? if yes, then tell me what made you think he is evil as you painted him because of his traits to these set of people through their great great great (can't finish naming how many generations) grand parents . just because some scientists and experts went to find out the genealogy of both Obama, McCain, Hillary Clinton and co, you just decided he is of the same politics and policies with these people you just mentioned. you think and act on your own, or do your parents or your brothers think for you?. I will conclude by telling you that everyone on this earth has link to eachother because we all came out from the same parents, !!! so just make sure you don't make this same mistakes again when trying to air your opinion about a particular person or candidate 1 Like 1 Share |

honeric01: Shut up you ignoramus! You know nothing about politics beyond the surface level. I guess that you are one of those people who spends his days debating the 'left-right paradigm' - but I guess you are to ignorant to know what that means Obama will the same as the rest. The only difference is that he is more charismatic. The minute Obama tries to rebel (which he won't), they will kill him - just like what they did to Kennedy when he wanted to tell the American people the truth about the Federal Reserve. http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=1279 You need to do your research (just as I have), and find out about who REALLY makes decisions in this world. Politicians do not make decisions - their corpoarate backers do. Come and debate with me once you have done you research, fool! |

Will Obama win? YES will he get to the WH? emmmmmm only time will tell. But am afraid of his life if he doing all these without the main "GUYS". JFK,William Henry Harrison,Zachary Taylor and others died because they did not follow their line. The click that controls the Federal Reserve rules America. If u don't belong to that click you might win d presidency but you will not last. |
