Not really. I lived in Jos for a while so something as insignificant as hail didn't really catch my attention. I'm more surprised that people are making a big deal out of it.

I find it hard to believe this would happen in Abuja. Because the few times I went there it was really hot and I thot this hail only falls in cold places. Apart from one time long ago it was raining and we drove past one spot and the rain wasn't falling there so we could actually look back and see rain. Was very weird.

Does it get really cold in abj?
