10 Songs You Do Not Want To Ever Hear Your Parents Sing! by iamkingzlee(m): 3:13pm On Aug 28, 2014
Most of the songs currently enjoying
airplay in Nigeria are of the jollof
genre. However, have you ever
wondered how heart-
wrenchingingly embarrassing it
would be if you caught your parents
singing the same songs you rocked
to at the club?
Imagine walking in on your father
singing Patoranking’s sex tape to
your mother, Or your mother
singing Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda to
your father? The horror!!!
Here are 10 songs you would
never ever want to hear your
parents sing.
1, Wande Coal – Baby Hello
“Efo to lata Mrs Idikunle”. Imagine
walking in on your father singing
this song to your mother. The
horror!!! For the benefit of those
who do not understand Yoruba, Efo
to lata means very ‘peppery
vegetable’ which stands for a
womans “Hot Vajayjay” . If u do not
still get the gist, hurry up to the
nearest Amala joint for proper
translations.
2.D’Prince – Take Banana
‘Take Banana till you go yo’. The
words say it all and it doesn’t help
that those words are on constant
repeat for at least sixteen times at
the begining of the song. Imagine
someone’s father with his crotch
close to someone’s mother face
while singing this glorious song.
The horror!
3. May D – Soundtrack
Nobody wants to hear their parents
having sex, except if you are a freak.
This song however brings to us the
knowledge of the sound ladies
apparently make while having sex.
Your father comes out after your
mother in the morning and starts
singing ‘Na so the lady go ah, ah, ah’
and your mind immediately cuts
because nobody wants to imagine
what might have happened the
night before.
4. D’banj – Why Me
This particular song is one that was
considered a little to raunchy for
someone young to sing in public,
not to talk of the old generation.
The line, “She said she wanted to
be mine that my Koko drives her
wild, so tell me why me ?” sounds
naughty and funny coming from the
Kokomaster himself but what a
horrible memory it would bring if
you stumbled upon your father
singing that song.
5. Nicki Minaj – Anaconda
I can’t even understand half of the
things she saying all through the
song but i know i don’t want my
mom knowing even a word from the
song. The lyrics of the song is as
raunchy as can be and to top it off it
goes both ways, the verse can be
sang by your mother while your
father sings the chorus about his
Anaconda. Beautiful harmony to
hear your parents sing if you are a
creep.
6, Patoranking – Sex Tape
Patoranking’s sex tape is basically
porn in a music format. In as much as
it might be fun to hear the singer
perform this grimy and lyrically dirty
song. It would be toally and
absolutely mind wrecking to find
one’s parents singing along to this
song. In fact it is not far fetched to
say some individuals might even
have a heart attack if ever they hear
their parents sing to this song.
7. Olamide – Stupid Love
Olamide no doubt has a lot of songs
which are, lets say ok but this
particular number is one thing i
don’t think anyone would want to
here their father sing to their
mother.
8. Timaya – Bum Bum
Well it should not be a surprise that
a song by Timaya is coming in again
right? This time it is about the gyals
dem shaking their ‘bum bum’ and
nope we don’t want to here my
father sing that song. If you feel cool
with your parents singing to this
song, i don’t care how young they
are, you are simply a freak.
9. MoHits All Stars – Booty Call
Booty calls might be all to familiar
with we the young, cool and hip
generation but should it not be a
punishable offence if our parents
understood the meaning?
10. Flavour – Shake
Wether you speak the igbo
language or not, you definitely
know by now what flavour was
saying in the song and if you don’t
run to the nearest spear part dealer
for translation. There is no one who
would definetly want their parents
singing this song.
