Most of the youths in our churches enjoy dancing steps they learn from secular music like "skelewu" and such likes...and most of our pastors say little or nothing about it. I kinda feel its not right.
Should christains copy worldly dance steps? Can't we create our own dance steps?

I suppose we all are christains. God has said it in His word that we've to separate totally from the world. Those dancesteps glorify satan and not God.

Notwithstanding,some of these entertainers and musicians are ignorantly working,sponsoring and glorifying Satan..
Jesus requires us to be Holy in everything we do and that includes dancing. God's holiness is meant to affect and reflect in all areas of our lives because anything short of it will incur eternal damnation. You may call me churchy,i'm justsayingmymind.

We christian mostly just take dis religion to face value and don't really practice it. Even Paul who's letters and epistles make up half of d new testament sed dat only God knws who is really worshiping Him.

Gregdcutie: Without trying to sound judgemental isn't the display of these dance steps a testament to the fact that most of our youths are viewing these almost sexually explicit videos (where these dance steps are first introduced) in private? For me I'lld have no problems if the "spirit" dropped the dance step in your heart during Church praise but if after having watched these videos (which I'll insist are nothing but near-pornography) you decide to worship God with such dance steps then I feel that is a problem....... But since we cannot know which dance was spirit inspired or gotten from having viewed these song videos then we'll have to leave judgment for the lord....

Weselion: you used the word "If" that means there is a possibility that it does not glorify God, some songs are devil inspired, so are some dance steps. You can't give God what belongs to the devil. Dance steps evolve as new songs evolve, some artist invent a dance step to move with his song, now most artist this days sing erotic songs, so should we use dance steps of erotic songs to worship God? E.g dance pull over in church (kcee ft wizkid), dance mapouka in church (south africans), or give a brother a holy Lap dance in church (nicki minaj style) or even shoki, to me shoki is a gay man's dance. Dance steps invented by the devil 2ru cocaine addicts, sex freaks or females you would never want your junior sister to emmulate their character, you then carry the dance steps to church. This is one reason Muslims see themselves superior to christians, No girl born by a woman can wear mini skirt inside a mosque, I was passing my school mosque one day and I raised my shirt up revealing my abdomen, if you see how one guy shouted at me ehh, as if I stole, yet I go to church and I see girls revealing abdomen, nobody is talking.

Now I know why the bible says the devils is wise; the simple logic the devil is trying to use that most christians are not seeing is; He is trying to pervert the church, nobody will know what is sin and what is not, sometimes I begin to wonder the spirituality of our great grand children.

They won't know what sin is when they are told that masthurbation is not a sin, when they are told to wear club clothes in the house of God, when they are told to dance erotic dance in church, when they are told that divorce is not a sin, by that time, islam would now look like the most Holy religion.

I am not a pastor or evangelist or a very devoted christian, its just my conscience speaking.
