There's nothing bad in it if not because of Nigerians mentality. Nigeria politician may sooner/later hijack them and turn them to something else |

They should allow them to carry weapon. That is the trend all over the world. When ISIS where very close to taken Bagdad, the shia muslim tooks arms in their thousands to defend Bagdad, every Kanuri should be enpowered to take up arms to defend Maiduguri, the Kanuri Capital. |

That would be suicide putting weapons on those people's hands. I can smear another ISIS-kind of strategy here. I hope the government is not going to listen to that for the simple reason not to proliferate weapons in the hands of the people thereby leading to mini wars in that region. I hope the Nigerian government would be smart enough not to pay attention to that. No weapons for Boko Haram sympathizers. There is need to upgrade the Nigerian army to do their duty. 1 Like |

Good move from those brave men and women (?). I am sure boko haram will be dealt with once people finally realize and accept how useless the military and government of the day is and decide to fight their own battles. Many of these people have fallen ( what's left of a man who has lost his family? ) and as the saying goes, a man who is fallen fears no fall. Peace shall return to this country whether those wicked people and the man who has been given the power but doesn't know what to do with it likes or not. |

gift01: Vow to confront. Is that news? Tell us when and how you will fight dem. Soldiers don't have enough weapons to fight. Wonder what these dreamers want us to believe. Walking the talk is what we need and not empty boasts Taaaa. If I hearam I go whoz you !!! Kneel down there my friend Just kidding. Nigerian soldiers are running because they want more salary , and bonuses not because weapons are inadequate Do you have any idea how many weapons have been intercepted these past four months ? While all attention is focused on soldiers what's the airforce's job ? These people have suffered a lot , I want to believe they feel like they have nothing to loose . and its a shame on Federal Government , what these people are saying is IG you don't care about us. We will fend for ourselves However this could also be a part of a bigger plan / conspiracy those weapons may be meant for other things other than Boko Haram Imagine 10000 armed men in a city ? It'll be chaos 1 Like 1 Share |

eemalex: Free MrAlex joor. When push comes to shove people will fight back with Government backing or not. Its better to die fighting than be slaughtered like a ram Everybody dies at any point in time. So, being scared of death and running from a fight does not mean you'll live forever |

amagugm: The FG should decide seriously what to do with this boko haramites. At times I imagine if this group were from South Eastern Nigeria, as in they are an Igbo terrorist group. Sure the FG would have long silenced them. All out war would have long been declared with an ethnic cleansing agenda. Since they are not Igbo they are allowed to grow and fester the country. Igbos must learn the Nigeria way with these happenings. That's B.S. massob and mend had their fun too. My point being nobody wants to wipe out your brothers and sisters in Igbo land or south east. And stop being tribalistic |

Surely govt has a solution to this problem, and should not encourage this suicide attempt by our people to go fighting with sticks, etc. |
