The supercharged 6.2 Hemi has been shown, and has 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. This engine, used only by SRT, will be available alongside the 6.4 Hemi in the 2015 Charger, 2015 Challenger, and possibly a new SRT Ram 1500. New: Specifications and details later in this page.

The 6.2 liter displacement was caused by a reduction in stroke from the 392; the stroke was reduced to increase the strength of the camshaft, according to SRT powertrain chief Chris Cowland. It will not, despite early rumors, have MDS / cylinder shutoff.

It will be hooked up to a manual transmission in Dodge Challenger, and an eight-speed automatic in Challenger and Charger; the 8HP90 can handle up to 663 lb-ft.
